🌍Standing with Nepal: Supporting Recovery and Rebuilding Efforts🌍

In late September 2024, record-breaking monsoon rains caused the Bagmati River to breach its banks, resulting in severe flooding across the capital Kathmandu and the surrounding Kathmandu Valley during the Dashain Festival. This tragic event, the worst of its kind in years, claimed more than 200 lives, damaged thousands of homes, and disrupted key transportation routes due to landslides and road damage.

At FEMI™, we stand with the people of Nepal as they recover and rebuild from this immense tragedy. We are moved by the resilience and determination of affected communities and deeply commend the efforts of Nepal Rising (Daayitwa US) and others working tirelessly on the ground to support those in need. Their strength reminds us of what is possible when communities come together in the face of adversity.
